  • Develop organization-wide architectures, cloud systems, and processes.
  • Work with and influence technical leaders and executives.
  • Perform hands-on and development across multiple platforms teams.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology road map and business value; create plans for integration and update into architecture.
  • Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
  • Leverage recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
  • Grow the capabilities of the team through interviewing, guidance and mentoring. Set an example of software applications design and development innovation and excellence.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years experience developing scaled software systems, with 3+ years of cloud service development experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience architecting, designing and developing software applications and services.
  • Java, Spring, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS/Azure) DevOps automation & tools, Machine Learning, IoT
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Agile product development, including test driven development.
  • Designing and integrating software applications running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
  • Developing executing quality, performance and scalability for software systems, including test plans, tool, debugging and process selection and development.
  • Solid understanding of software and service security, cryptography and privacy principles, technologies, and processes
  • History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels, and express business direction and planning in the context of technical design and development.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives, develop strategy and set functional policy and direction.
