Business Financial Analyst

The position provides reporting, modeling, and analytical support for key currency and hedging business processes for supplies. Works with GBU finance lead supporting reporting and analytics for actuals, flash, and long-term planning.

Role Description:

Currency reporting & quarterly hedge support

  • Rate updates
  • Calculation estimating rate break impact
  • Monthly currency reporting including workday 5 actuals and workday 10 flash with currency impact report presentation/story
  • Currency planning support including plan over plan changes as LTP/budget progresses
  • Currency Hedge (Receipt unit tracking, Currency over-hedge check & compliance, Verification of hedge JV booking tie out and communication to regions)
  • Support Ad hoc currency analysis or reporting involving complex analytics
  • Support other finance processes, analytics, and reporting

Education and Experience Required:
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) required.
  • Typically 3+ years of experience as a financial analyst
  • Typically experienced in more than one finance function


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power Pivot)
