Business Analyst

The role is to provide business analysis support to GBS (Global Brand Security) and the Customer Support team in the AMS region using the fraud prevention tool, CVS (Compliance Validation System). Working as part of a global team, the Business Analyst for CVS will provide project management and operational maintenance to help prevent fraud to HP's products and consequently deliver cost savings to HP Inc. S/he will consult with the CVS team and Customer Support to help plan and deploy new projects in the AMS region and define and implement business process controls. The analyst will need to engage with stakeholders and call center teams, as well as monitor the tool's efficiency and compliance issues.


  • Work with the CVS team to identify new business stakeholders, help promote the CVS tool and identify new CVS opportunities;
  • Plan and implement new CVS projects in the AMS region, including establishing cost savings metrics;
  • Generate new leads for GBS investigators in the AMS region to support target identification and prioritization;
  • Implement and maintain CVS flags relating to new and ongoing CVS projects;
  • Help to manage the mailbox by responding to requests in relation to CVS;
  • Analyze data and compile information to identify trends, new fraud patterns, and make observations for potentially non-compliant/fraudulent activity;
  • Support the CVS team by engaging with relevant stakeholders, including Call Center Management, to address compliance issues by determining the best course of action and escalate issues when appropriate;
  • Contribute to compliance audits and investigations related to leads generated by the CVS tool; and
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions delivered to relevant stakeholders to promote the CVS tool

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor´s or Master Degree
  • Advanced English skills
  • Basic understanding of elements of fraud
  • Superior analytical skills and modelling capabilities;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written/verbal) and a customer-centric approach;
  • Able to build relationships and work collaboratively as a team player, including with individuals from diverse backgrounds, countries, and at varying levels within the organization;
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to identify process or application enhancements that further enables the tool to prevent non-compliance and fraud;
  • Out of the box thinking – able to find innovative solutions and think strategically;
  • Able to apply tools and technology to produce results;
  • Able to understand global business processes and identify impact of change; and
  • Able to work with different IT applications and create reports
