Business Analysis Manager

HP's Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Services (CREWS) group is seeking a Business Analysis Manager to manage the seamless delivery of analytics and reporting for a global team.

CREWS manages all of HP's global real estate assets and is responsible for planning and managing the real estate portfolio and for delivering a workplace experience that fosters HP culture of innovation and reinvention. The Business Analysis Manager will report to the Head of Business Operations, Strategy and Planning (BOSP) and is key in providing business intelligence and meaningful recommendations and analysis across all functions. A significant part of the role is managing the financial reporting and data analysis from the outsourced providers and developing an impactful narrative for the business.

As a key leader in BOSP, a successful candidate will be responsible for the growth and transformation of the business intelligence team, driving:

  • Data driven analytics and management reporting

  • Operational efficiency

Specific Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the business intelligence group to establish and manage a center of excellence on an analytics and reporting to support all CREWS functions
  • Implement management reporting, dashboard, portfolio analytics, metrics, and financials reporting
  • Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations to leadership
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of quarterly business reviews with leadership, including the Head of CREWS and HP COO
  • Work with the outsourced provider to create seamless processes and manage service delivery for financial reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with finance partners to create and manage operating and capital budgets
  • Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly financial variance reports
  • Manage performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment of goals

A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics. Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with working with different types and sources of data; presenting dashboard and analytics
  • 12+ years professional experience in FP&A or business analysis
  • Experience in a consulting or Big 4 desirable
  • Background in corporate real estate preferred

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills
  • Self-motivated; independent, organized and proactive; highly responsive, collaborative, and adaptable when working across multiple teams
  • Strong project/program management skills, well-organized and a planning mindset
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Access, and various data access tools
  • Passionate about producing high-quality analytics deliverables and communicating results to a broad audience
