BPI Infrastructure Engineering Project Manager

HP Inkjet and Printing Solutions (IPS) delivers market-leading printing experiences to consumer and business customers through inkjet solutions. The HP Corvallis site consists of 2 million square feet of floor area in 11 buildings used for semiconductor MEMS R&D, development and manufacturing. It is a dynamic environment where critical infrastructure systems must be updated and modified to ensure that business needs are met.


Lead a diverse group of infrastructure system engineers, project managers and Infrastructure-related Program Managers to plan, sustain, design and construction, and (re)commission infrastructure systems, upgrades, modifications and equipment installations for the Corvallis site wafer fab cleanrooms, manufacturing, and development facilities.

  • Through your team deliver on the following:
    • Infrastructure roadmaps, project design, construction engineering, start-up and operational plans for business critical infrastructure (e.g. fab HVAC systems, ultrapure water systems, flammable and toxic gas systems, etc.)
    • Define program schedules, define priorities, make appropriate project trade-offs
    • Tool hook up project management (planning, design, construction management, and start-up) in Fab, lab, manufacturing, and proto environments.
    • Capital planning (10 Year Plan) and reporting, as well as management of assigned budgets
    • Non-office space planning for the Corvallis Site
  • Perform all management duties including:
    • Work with our site business leaders, Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Services (CREWS) organization and the integrated facility management partners to plan projects, secure funding, communicate effectively with, and adjust delivery to balance business needs with affordability.
    • Participate, set and manage department budgets (Annual/Capital)
    • Provide development, leadership, and management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of objectives, performance plans, coaching, and career development.

  • Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including written, negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.
  • Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • First level university degree or equivalent experience required. May have advanced university degree in Chemical and Civil Engineering degrees preferred.

  • > 2 Years of project management experience
  • In-depth Knowledge of Clean-room infrastructure systems a high want.
  • Solid understanding of horizontal function processes (CREWS, Finance, IT etc.)
  • Experience with building codes, design and construction processes, and contract management.
  • Experience with large-site facilities infrastructure systems and technologies including Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Instrument and Controls, and Life Safety.
