Leads the System and Process Solutions team focused on tool development and automation activities within the AMS Sales Operation organization.
Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in understanding business/technical opportunities that can be solved with automations and/or tool development. Manages activities of non-exempt/exempt individual contributors and/or MG1s. Has accountability for a large multi-department area(s) or location(s) with significant impact on Sales and Sales Ops organizational strategy and improvement areas. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall improvements and short to mid-term enhancements in the organization. Plans, manages and monitors tactical activities of Staff. Staff members 'primary focus is on tool development, automations, define ideal technical infrastructure, coding architecture, future state ideal development rules in compliance with IT or a combination of all. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Position typically reports to Director or above.


Typically manages 10 or more direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.

Develop compelling and creative strategies and business model recommendations around innovation/automation opportunities.

Manage and prioritize the projects moving through the System and Process Solutions funnel process to assure maximum return on investment, considering risks, investment, size of opportunity, etc.

Coordinate business relationships with Sales leadership across the AMS region, influencers, stakeholder and other org participants.

Create and lead a talented team of Tool developers, infrastructure and technical project managers.

Provide thought leadership through hard-hitting, high quality data analysis and research.

Influence leadership team decisions through clear communication and a professional, collaborative engagement style.

Enroll successive levels of management to gain support and resources to take new automation projects to completion.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.

May hold Master's or advanced degree in related field.

Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.

Typically 4+ years of people management experience.

Lean Six sigma Green or Black belt certification is a plus
