About the Tervo Lab:

Our lab is part of the Mechanistic Cognitive Neuroscience department at Janelia. We seek to understand the mechanistic basis of social cognition. We do this by working to understand how rats classify and predict other rats' actions and decide how to respond to them. We develop tools to make this possible and use these tools to reveal the neural basis of rodent social interaction in ethological settings. Learn more about our work here.
