Senior Sales Manager - German market

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Sales Manager to join and lead our German team.

The Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for driving the implementation of internal business initiatives, improving process efficiencies, developing and sustaining strong partner relationships within the assigned area to help partners improve their production potential and managing a team to deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

-You will be securing seasonal deals, evergreen and dynamic promotions within the guidelines set by Management to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts, and driving key activities that support HomeAway revenue and strategic objectives.
-You will progressively expand partner portfolios through leadership and day today management within defined markets by implementing strategies defined by UK or US leadership.
-Your management responsibilities include Account Managers and Partner Success Admin to deliver acquisition goals through management of inventory, rates and supplier relations and negotiation of the best inventory and most strategically high-reaching rates in the market.
-You will lead the development and execution of the overall market business plans, and input into the long-term business strategy to deepen our position in the assigned market/territory is also key the success of the role.
-Your Involvement in cross functional HomeAway business initiatives is also vital: understand deliverables and implications on their market; providing input on opportunities for improvement and effective implementation; and partner with internal teams through initiation and planning of initiatives to proactively anticipate market impact.
-Provide ongoing input to the Director of the region for developing effective and scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies.

Required Skills & Experience
-Highly fluent in German and English.
-Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent.
-Confirmed sales experience with validated experience as Sales Manager, background leading Sales Managers desirable.
-An E-Commerce experience is preferable.
-Validated experience and a track record of success negotiating, managing, and growing supplier and/or partner relationships.
-You lead cross-functional teams successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
-You are able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and to influence decision makers outside of her/his authority.
