Position Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within HomeAway for a senior Manager to lead the Programmatic Acquisition function within our SEM operations, reporting to the Global Performance Marketing Director. This is an exciting role, which would suit an experienced SEM Manager looking to make their mark in an innovative and growing tech company.

• Build a strong partnership with Global Product and Regional Marketing to:
- Develop and maintain a Programmatic traffic acquisition strategy that is based on e-Commerce best practices, the target customers and competitive landscape
- Develop a scalable landing page strategy to support digital merchandising features and functionality
- Write creative briefs necessary for development of thematic/landing page refreshes, taking into consideration of search trends, conversion, and mobile user experience 
- QA all assets before they are deployed in staging reviews in order to execute flawless plans
- Work with the development team to drive process automation and efficiency in regards to campaign and inventory management, display creative, data ingestion and bidding
- Leverage 1st and 3rd party insights on Audience Management & User Segmentation to improve targeting for all performance channels
- Use analytics to identify opportunities for testing and optimization, lead the Test & Learn initiative from the Performance Marketing team and ensure global roll out

• Work with the Performance Marketing Operations teams to improve efficiency and maximize performance

• Lead the Destination Management initiative within the Performance Marketing org and provide relevant insights and optimization to Operations teams

• Work closely with the Business Analytics team to uncover opportunity to drive traffic efficiency at destination level by increasing demand to deficient listings

• A confirmed and proven expertise in a programmatic acquisition capacity for a top-tier digital consumer brand

• Strong and proven expertise in the following key areas within Programmatic Operations:
- Audience management and integration with programmatic vendors
- Managing data feed integrations, automated campaign creation and bidding
- Working with dev teams to create dynamic landing pages at scale

• An already existing experience in management roles as people manager; experience with remote management is highly preferred
• Deep knowledge of site merchandising best practices with a strong merchandising “eye”
• Experience in A/B testing
• Mandatory Experience in the following tools: Google Analytics Premium, Gemini, Qlikview, Bing Ads, Kenshoo, SQL
• Exceptional teamwork and demonstrated agility to partner with various types of teams and people within a similar organization
• Superior verbal and written communications skills and extreme attention-to-detail
• Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization, planning, and task delegation
• Proven analytical and numerical aptitude; versed in site analytics and proficient in data analysis for merchandising decision making
• Global experience, supporting multiple regions preferred
