Job Description: 

Prospecting retailers and brands to activate and fund our business through partnerships at a local and global level is critical to our success.  HomeAway is looking for a strong Partner Development Specialist who is trained and skilled at prospecting brand/retailers via email and direct phone call to set up meetings with identified partners and segments.  This individual will also be responsible for tracking all prospect activity and working directly with the Partnership Manager/Sr. Director to ensure partnership cycles stay on task until closed and activated. Specific Deliverables:This individual will be responsible for the following objectives:-Prospect a list of predetermined local and global brand/retailers across North America, EMEA and South America-Set 10+ partnership discovery calls on a weekly basis-Work with designated departments within HomeAway to develop prospecting assets to deliver more partnership pipeline-Assist with achieving 10% revenue goal of Brand and Integrated Marketing budget and increasing consumer reach creating higher brand awareness for HomeAway

Skill / Experience Requirements:

-2+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Partnership Marketing or Business Development
-History of successfully prospecting e-tailers and consumer focused brands-Experience prospecting Sr. and C-Level Leadership with consumer brands and retailers
-Familiar and comfortable with global markets including US, EMEA and South America-Strong business acumen in market development and prospecting
-Ability to develop and grow relationships-Proven results in hitting aggressive pipeline targets and setting up discovery calls to impact the bottom line-Bachelor’s degree required
-Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to communicate HomeAway’s value proposition to partners
