Marketing Coordinator

Role PurposeSeeking ambitious Marketing talent with strong all-rounder skills, to join the Bookabach team, part of the global HomeAway family. This role will also assist with a wide variety of Traveller marketing activities and be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the marketing team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and alongside others, interacting with sales, marketing and support team members, as well as external agencies and business partners. Responsibilities• Assist with writing and preparing digital assets for email, web and social media • Assist in planning, production, scheduling and delivering of campaigns.• Ongoing tracking, collection and analysis of key marketing channel metrics (KPIs)• Ensures content is created in alignment with digital marketing best practice; SEO best practice and accessibility standards.• Keeper of the Bookabach brand and “voice”. Advocating and policing for consistency and adherence.• Provide input on marketing strategy and tactical planning with the marketing team.• Liaising with marketing partners, external contractors and agencies• Managing competition prize programmes• Key events planning • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks• Maintain strong local knowledge of day-to-day developments relating to the holiday rental market.• Other duties as may be reasonably required.Qualifications & Experience• Great communications skills.• Ability to write good creative and concise marketing copy while following a prescribed ‘voice’• 2-3 years in a marketing coordinator or related role.• Some experience in digital marketing ideally in a travel or consumer related field• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe software.• Social media and HTML skills desirable.• High standards of computer literacy and keyboarding skills. Experience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). • Tertiary qualification in marketing or equivalent industry experience.
