Are you someone that loves supporting a Global Sales team through technology?  Do you like helping teams understand how new tools and technology can increase productivity and drive performance?  HomeAway is looking for a leader that is ready to dive in and provide expertise through managing a team of analysts to continue evolving our platform plus other sales tools utilized by the global sales team.  Your expertise and out of the box thinking will help us quickly deliver a robust sales toolset to drive efficiencies in the sales process and enable new sales programs to drive revenue.


  • Lead and manage a global sales ops team of Business Analysts responsible for both strategic system improvements as well as day to day operational coverage of the sales tools
  • Drive enhancements to sales tools through meetings with sales leadership to understand business challenges, user needs, and quantifying benefits to the organization
  • Develop & pitch business cases (business challenge, hypothesis, measurement for success) for Sales technology initiatives to secure resources for new projects
  • Design ways to measure key results for each initiative
  • Partner with sales leaders to accurately define &  prioritize the backlog across each sales pod to ensure we deliver the highest valued enhancements at the right time
  • Ensure our sales tools such as are utilized to their fullest potential to maximize usage, improve processes, and tracking
  • Drive the team to quickly & efficiently resolve day to day issues and tasks requested by the Sales team
  • Analyze ad-hoc requests to determine strategies & solutions to mitigate, deflect, and prevent these types of requests 
  • Work with the team to develop solid UAT plans for all system rollouts & changes to provide optimal stakeholder experience with new features
  • Drive adoption & measurement of tool enhancements 
  • Define best practices for sales tools & technology processes
  • Research industry standard best practices and proactively suggest innovative ideas to improve the sales process to drive revenue
  • Provide the team with guidance and leadership towards individual and team goals
  • Ensure the team is documenting requirements, decisions, and solutions
  • Ensure the team works collaboratively with the larger sales ops team including reporting, process & training teams to deliver a full end to end product for sales

Our ideal candidate, at a minimum will have

  • 2+ years in a management role leading a successful team to drive improvements in the organization
  • 4+ years in an analyst role (business, sales, data, systems)
  • Expertise with sales objects such as: accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, reports, forecasting, and activities
  • Strong understanding of CRM capabilities regarding configuration and custom development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with IS departments to implement projects through the agile and scrum framework
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience driving change through uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, so the manager must be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines
  • Experience working with leadership teams to drive change through capturing high level requirements and executing with strong solutions 
  • Bachelor’s degree
