EMEA Product Performance Manager

HomeAway is looking for a talented EMEA Product Performance Manager to join the EMEA Business Operations team based in London.  The Product Performance Manager role is a critical role in implementing the business objectives of HomeAway in the EMEA region. 


The role’s primary responsibilities will be to:

• Lead, coordinate and develop the EMEA team of Regional Product Specialists
• Monitor EMEA Product performance at granular level, understand trends and results of key initiatives, for each of our key EMEA markets
• Develop business insights and Product initiatives to accelerate growth of EMEA region, exceed customer needs and differentiate HomeAway from its competitors
• Collaborate closely with Global Product teams on key Product launches, & general Product prioritisation
• Communicate overall performance trends and results of key initiatives back into the EMEA leadership team The role will report directly to the Director, EMEA Product Performance, based in London, UK. What will you do?
• Coordinate & develop a team of Regional Product Specialists 
• Ensure high quality/high impact delivery from the Regional Product Performance team, specifically on 4 core areas: 
1. Deep understanding of each EMEA site performance on a day to day basis:  troubleshoot for bugs & detailed funnel conversion impacts
2. Deliver quantified hypothesis (AB testing, new flows, …) to improve regional site performance and differentiate HomeAway vs. our competitors 
3. Actively support localization of Global Product for all key releases (from initial requirements to UATs & post launch optimizations)
4. Be responsible for active participation in the building of the Global Product roadmap & prioritization
• Improve current processes of regional input into global planning, to deliver conversion improvement goals
• Work closely with the EU Retail Business Analyst to generate insights and understanding of business performance drivers to share with functional teams
• Ensure that variations in European market performance are understood across the EMEA and Global org, and work with appropriate teams (Product, Marketing & Customer Support) to address opportunities and challenges
• Communicate and update the EU Leadership & Global Product Leadership team on key rollouts and performance metrics, making recommendations as needed
• Stay on top of industry trends and competitor behaviours, and highlight key competitive issues and opportunities in a structured and quantified hypothesis
• Develop performance evaluation models and support financial planning cyclesWho are you?
• You have an analytical mind, demonstrated strong attention to detail, ability to analyze customer data and work towards insights
• You have demonstrated a strong ability think strategically, sequence and prioritize actions to drive business results
• You are passionate about the consumer and consumer advocate mind-set
• You are creative and innovative thinker with a “can do” attitude
• You have solid team and project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities, as well as strong experience of working with senior management
• You have excellent communication skills(written and verbal), and very strong interpersonal and influencing skills (externally and internally at all levels)
• You have a good know how of using basic Tableau/SQL/GA skills• You are used to, and actually enjoy, working in a complex environment
• You have a bachelors degree, MBA preferred
• You have 5+ years e-commerce experience, ideally working across multiple geographies
• You are fluent English, additional languages a plus
• Travel industry & online experience a plus
