To successfully support the company’s growth in Northern Europe, HomeAway is seeking a talented Commercial Analyst. In this role, your primary responsibility is to dive in and provide expertise in our partner and operational data for our Partner Success leadership team.

Key responsibilities are:
•Drive the modelling, testing, and implementation of analytical and reporting processes, measurement methodologies, functionality, and capabilities for the global partner success team.
•Represent the partner success group in planning meetings across multiple departments to obtain critical input to develop assumptions & models for forecasting and budgeting files.
•Conduct A/B tests to assess the impact of potential optimization refinements in our partner success organization.
•Proactively utilize advanced technical skills to extract data from multiple sources and provide clear output for decision making.
•Draw out key business insights and provide actionable recommendations to the partner success team.
•Present findings and insights via presentations and meetings to facilitate informed decision making for the senior partner success leadership team.
•Contribute new insights to ad-hoc analytics and modeling projects.
•Maintain documentation on reports and queries while partnering with the partner success Ops team to drive consistency in data sources, metrics, and best practices.

Required skills and experience:
•A confirmed and proven experience in an analyst role (business, sales, data, systems, finance)
•Experience with
•Expertise in report building & presentation development utilizing a BI application for visualizations (Tableau preferred)
•Experience with data validation methodologies
•Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication skills
•A preferred expertise in writing SQL statements for data extraction
•Experience with forecasting and workforce management planning
•Experience translating high-level directions into practical projects and lead/drive their completion with minimal supervision.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher (Technical degree preferred ie: math, stats, etc.
•Fluency in French or German a plus
