Business Developer Manager - UK Market

HomeAway is looking for a bright, ambitious and experienced Business Developer Manager for the UK market to join our growing Partner Success Management team.  

HomeAway, a world leader in the vacation rental industry, is the place to book beach houses, cabins, and condos with more than two million places to stay in 190 countries. The site makes it easy to find and book the perfect vacation rental for any getaway, often for less than the cost of traditional hotel accommodations. Your primary responsibility is to promote and develop partners’ high engagement with HomeAway’s full suite of products through prospecting, marketing and pitching HomeAway’s suite of solutions to Property Managers in their assigned portfolio.
You will research, identify and develop relationships with prospects to produce partner opportunities. You will recruit, develop and handle strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines to acquire new partners, as well as to develop the growth and customer happiness of lesser penetrated accounts.Consistently using data specific to their market available in the company’s proprietary reporting tools, market insights, prioritization dashboards and using their local market knowledge, you will:

Key Responsibilities

-Identify key prospects for specific traveler destinations
-Implement and maintain an accurate pipeline of potential prospects within targeted markets
-Secure additional inventory over high demand and compression periods to satisfy partners’ pressing needs
-Facilitate order processing quoting procedures
-Attend trade shows and other partner events to support partner success goals
-Stay ahead of key demand/supply indicators, economic data, trends and competitive information within the designated strategic market and at national level

Required Skills & Experience
-Highly fluent in English

-Proven experience in inside sales experience (B2B), with at least 1 year of acquisition/prospecting experience in e-commerce
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
-You have proven success in lead generation and lead qualification
-Ability to exceed performance goals
-Experience in highly consultative sales cycles
-Excellent Microsoft Office skills and social skills
-You love dynamic, rapidly changing business environment
-You can work independently and be self-motivated
-Knowledge of and Tableau Reporting
