You will own Local Marketing Activation for Asia (Excluding Japan). You will build and manage a team of local marketers focused on understanding local markets, building strong go to market plans and developing an activation and event strategy to engage our travellers and partners.You will partner with the Local GM’s inside of our retail organization to achieve the common revenue goals of the market. The role is a member of the APAC Marketing Leadership Team and will manage a team of 4 professionals within the Singapore Office.Responsibilities:    Engage, lead, develop and Inspire a team of local Asian marketing activation resources.    Manage regional/local marketing communications spend allocation and media mix based on country/marketplace revenue goals and market growth potential.    Activate vacation rental owners (owners)/partners by destination by developing event and guerrilla marketing initiatives.    Craft a multi-channel, integrated marketing plan by country and destination for both our traveller and owner/partners.    Produce unique merchandising opportunities across destinations leveraging DMOs and other local content providers.    Work hand in hand with the APAC Marketing Services Lead to ensure excellent local marketing customer service, excellence in execution and strong creative outcomes for local marketing programs.    Identify appropriate customer segments and targeting opportunities to implement local destination messaging and partner plans.    Build and execute Platform Transition Plans for HomeAway brands not on platform.    Build partnerships with large brands in defined categories to increase the vacation rental marketplace awareness through co-marketing initiatives.    Work hand in hand with the Growth Marketing team to deliver integrated best in market plans.Qualifications and Experience:    Extensive, demonstrable experience (~6-8years of leadership experience) producing and leading Multi-Channel Consumer Marketing plans and campaign strategies.    Proven track record leading marketing organizations including events, social media or product marketing teams.    A local marketing and audience authority, with strong, tangible experience and a background in consumer marketing to customers in Asia, that can be seen as a thought leader within the company.    Experience executing partner marketing strategy between various brands and co-marketing tactics between products.    Experience managing agency resources for marketing creative and design.    Ability to produce customer focused merchandising and marketing roadmaps.    Experience managing and coaching medium size, multi-functional marketing teams.    Fluency in an Asian language would be an advantage.Some of the perks you will enjoy:    Relaxed dress code so you can be yourself    Employee insurance and benefits    Spectacular modern offices with views over Robertson Quay, Singapore Flyer and CBD    Fully stocked kitchen with free drinks, fruit, free food and good coffee    An active social committee who organizes quarterly team social events    Great people and an awesome, unique culture where we celebrate our successes and take pride in our authenticity!To find out more, check out:
