The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. The candidate will have excellent communications skills.

Mission Statement:

Sells technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customer for specific technical product and/or application of product. Provides technical interface between customer and company engineering, manufacturing and program management representatives. Research customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products. Prepares and conducts technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives. Develops potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements. Prepares sales forecasts. Investigates new applications or improvements to products with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to adopt culture of Safety, integrity and good compliance.
  • Able to work within company rules and guidelines.
  • Responsible to meet the sales target for TRES (Transformer Re-Engineering and Services) business in Zone East.
  • Able to drive the service sales business across the zone and developing/ maintaining Channel Partners to increase the business volume.
  • Business Development with technical spec in activities, marketing activities through presentation.
  • Promote TRES Portfolio in various segment like Industries, Utilities, Transport, Data Center etc., for Hitachi Energy and Third Party Installed Base.
  • Able to travel across the Zone to develop / maintain customer relationships.
  • Performing various sales activities for transformer related service portfolio like
  • Selling of Digital solution in retrofit market (Online DGA, Transformer Monitoring System and other monitoring sensors). Selling of transformer released service (Parts, Repair, Condition Assessment, Upgrade/ Overhauling, Long Term.
  • Service Agreement (AMC's/ SLA) and other value-added services) for various range of transformers like Dry Type, Traction, HVDC, Special Application and Power Transformer upto 500MVA 765kV Class.
  • Coordinating with various teams like Product Technical Experts, SCM, Design etc., to resolve customer issue by proposing the relevant solution.
  • Preparation of Techno commercial proposal, costing, deciding of margins etc., whichever required for offering. Participating in Online Tender like major State and Central Utilities, Railways in portal like GeM, IREPS and other online portal.
  • Attending customer negotiation meeting for order closure across the Zone East.
  • Handling tools like Salesforce (SFDC) for capture & Maintain market data, SAP (S4 HANA), Other tools which required for business.
  • Handling complete Zone Requirement with respect to sales.

Background:

  • We are looking for someone with a university degree in electrical engineering.
  • Relevant 5-8 years of experience in Transformer Service-related sales / Transformer sales.
  • Proficiency in both English (spoken & written), local language like Bengali, Odia etc., is required.
  • Knowledge in Power Transformers, about intelligent devices and Digital Equipment's.
  • Positive Attitude towards work and reasonable Communication skills required.
  • Candidate shall have good technical knowledge on transformers and commercial knowledge on sales to handle the customer requirement.
  • Candidate should have good working knowledge in all Micro Soft Tools, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.,
  • Able to travel frequently to customer places for resolution of customer issues.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
