- Lead and inspire a team of procurement specialists to achieve strategic goals
- Implement sourcing strategies that align with global and regional business objectives
- Collaborate across departments to support project-based procurement needs
- Optimize supplier relationships and contract terms for long-term value
- Monitor procurement performance and report key metrics to drive improvement
- Support inventory management and process optimization initiatives
- Champion talent development and succession planning within the SCM team
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in SCM, logistics, or manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven leadership experience in procurement or supply chain teams
- Proficiency in SAP (5+ years required); Ariba and ISNetworld experience a plus
- APICS certification and MBA preferred
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
