We are seeking a Senior/Staff QA Engineer who can level up our QA systems. You define and drive adoption of QA best practices across product development. You help cross-functional teams ship better code faster with clearer test cases, better unit and integration tests, and automation everywhere!

Our tech stack: Aptible, AWS, GraphQL, Postgres, Rails, React, ReactNative, Redis, Redux, and Typescript.


  • By your first week, you'll be meeting with product managers and engineers to identify QA pain points and areas for improvement
  • By your first month, you'll be presenting your initial recommendations to Engineering management for how we can level up our approach to quality in the company
  • By your sixth month, you'll be leading projects that alter lives--no joke--and getting direct stakeholder feedback that makes you cry with joy.
  • Through automation and process changes, you will ensure a significant reduction in the amount of hands on testing that Product Managers have to do for each release.
  • Your prioritized list of high-leverage quality process or tooling changes will help us hit a goal of eliminating regressions in release candidates.


  • 5 years of experience as a QA engineer, including experience with test automation and performance testing
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Science & Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems
  • Desire to learn, grow and develop as the company grows
  • Based in Portland, OR or in San Francisco, CA
