Has significant tax experience in a variety of high-level tax issues
Continuously reviews and analyzes tax laws, rules and regulations. Recommends improvements to tax compliance systems, processes, practices and policies
Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies
Ensures that internal and external auditors' requirements are met (e.g., explain HPE's tax initiatives, tax incentives, financial reporting
Supports implementation and maintenance of the country tax procedures to ensure compliance within the country scope and ISO requirements
Actively support Ops Lead in daily challenges (system, tax, compliance) related to the country scope of Ops Lead and/or for multiple countries by providing recommendations and analysis
Provide client with excellent service: accuracy, timeliness, advice, collaborate to overcome system/tax/proces issues, challenge client with smart questions
Exercises independent judgment within tax and accounting procedures to determine the appropriate action for multiple countries in the VAT Reporting process
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
- Typically 0+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of accounting processes.
- Basic analytical skills.
- Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Good communication skills.
- Good teamwork skills.
