The Transition and Transformation Manager (f/m) leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. Manages corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Responsible for business as well as team management.

Responsibilities:

  • High management visibility (customer/HPE)
  • Keen and fast perception, high flexibility
  • Responsible, proactive, motivated and creative
  • Communication and negotiation skills on an executive level
  • Accustomed to working under high pressure and with demanding customers
  • Excellent project management skills (Set up and management of milestones und timelines, planning and moderation)
  • ITIL - expert knowledge or other comparable experience
  • IT Transition/ Transformation Project Experience with projects >2000 Datacenter Systems
  • Single point of contact to the customer during transition and transformation
  • Accountable for successful implementation and Overall Transition Management
  • Managing a large project team and involvement with other Business Units and Suppliers
  • Responsibility of transition costing and financial topics, incl. reporting and quality management
  • Presentation of transition status and relevant reports to executive level

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree / Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years experience in project management or in like roles/businesses.
  • Ideally work experience with ISG (former TPI) tendering

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Good knowledge of transition models
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management
  • Recognized as a leader in the company's PM Professions community
  • PMP Certified
  • Language skills: German/ English fluently

This position is for a big customer in the German Automotive Branche. Presences at the customer site in Wolfsburg is essential for that role.
