Job Description:

As part of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Communication and Media Solutions ACI Domain team in the Central cluster ( CEE&DACH), the Telecom Analytics (TA) Solution Architect role is as customer-facing subject matter expert in Data management and analytics for the Central cluster territory. The SA acts as trusted advisor in building Big Data solutions, based on the HPE TA portfolio, leading the end-to-end presales, architecture and delivery process. Strong presentation skills and understanding of customer environments and priorities top criteria for this position.

Role & responsibilities

  • Provides TA product and solution Presales and Delivery expertise - from opportunity qualification phase , through project delivery to project support
  • Prepares and presents to Customers portfolio technical and business advantages
  • Works on design, specification, efforts estimation; coordinates developments/customization/configuration
  • Teams with ACI DSR and local AP to help position and sell TA products and solutions to win both new and upsell business
  • Conducts customer requirement specification analysis and map to TA products/solutions
  • As lead Solution Architect, orchestrates technical responses to RFx in the Cluster
  • Shares knowledge across Central cluster to boost Best Practices

Key knowledge & skills

Proven hands-on experience in:

  • Fraud management and Revenue assurance
  • Data warehousing, Big Data, OLAP/reporting/advanced Analytics
  • open source platforms - Hadoop and related tools(Spark, Hive, Kafka), reporting tools, DB
  • Ability to translate technical environment into business valuable Use Cases
  • Experience in working with customers; both presales and delivery
  • Ability to analyze specific customer requirements
  • Ability to design, estimate, present and implement solutions in scope
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to travel – up to 70%
  • Fluency in spoken and written English language (mandatory); German or Russian language is an advantage

Education & experience

  • Master's Degree in Computer science or equivalent (a must)
  • Experience in working in multicultural environment
  • Strong technical competence and communication skills
  • Demonstrates ownership and assumes responsibility to drive resolution of issues
  • Strong customer focus and solution orientation
