As related to HPSA and the use ofthe standard service via the worldwide infrastructure:
Provide technical consulting andServer Automation solutions to accounts and ES project teams
Provide technical support, analysis,and/or direction in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designedto meet a customer’s business needs
Drive the use of standard ServerAutomation solutions to ensur consistency across the ES server enterprise andas a means for controlling costs
Perform problem analysis andeffectively resolve issues in a timely manner
Implement changes in accordance withpublished Change Management guidelines
As trusted advisor, create andmaintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain knowledge of leading edgetechnologies and industry/market domain knowledge
Actively contribute to HP’ssolutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledgeto methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects
Shape technical direction andtechnical strategies within the organization and for external customers
Accountable for consistent andsignificant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams)and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfactiongoals
Contribute to organization’s profitability bygenerating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providingtechnical support for deal proposal development
2 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalentdegree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, 3additional years of relevant professional experience (5 years in total).
Experiencebuilding, configuring, and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) v5 and/orv6 servers
Experiencebuilding HPSA satellites (versions 9.x)
Knowledge of HPfirewalls and how to submit FRCR’s to get ports open from source to destinationis desirable.
Excellentwritten and spoken English skills
Strong projectmanagement skills
Strongorganizational and time management skills
Working daywithin the EST time zone (plus or minus 3 hours)
Ability towork individually as well as within a team
Promote aneffective teamwork environment
Ability to multi-task and support/manage multiple projectssimultaneously
