Sales Specialist – Storage

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and driving the storage sales pipeline in a defined customer segment.
  • Use storage solutions expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit.
  • Provide support to Account Managers and provide input regarding business development and solution expertise.
  • Understand market development to strategically position the storage products portfolio and services better.
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with customers and partners, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
  • Direct or coordinate supporting sales activities.
  • Work closely with the account team on storage opportunities.

Educational and Professional Requirements

Education

University diploma or Bachelor's degree in technical or commercial field of study

Experience

Typically > 8 years of advanced sales experience.

Several years of product sales in storage.

Demonstrated achievement of quota, diversity of business customer, and frequent customer interface.

Languages English and French language skills to business standard

  • Is considered as an expert in knowledge of storage products, solution and service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the digital transformation, the role of IT within area of storage and how companies' solutions differently address specific industry challenges as well as their cross-segment capabilities.
  • Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills.
  • Communication, presentation and negotiation competencies on a high-level.
  • Very good language skills in French and English.
