Sr. UNIX System Administrator
This position is located in either Boise, ID, El Paso, TX, Clarksville, VA or Charleston, WV.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services is looking for a Sr. UNIX Administrator to support the FDA and provide hands-on experience with Unix/Solaris and Linux builds, configurations and ongoing support as well as stand up support.
- Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Performing and coordinating effective installation and performance of advanced
operating system hardware and software on servers.
- Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve
software related problems.
- Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and
other procedures related to IT.
- Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations for system
- Be available for afterhours / on-call support.
Education and Experience Required:
Able to obtain a Public Trust.
At least five years of senior level support experience in the areas listed below and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree or related area of study.
RHEL 6 (red hat enterprise LINUX)
Certs are bonus
RHCSA (red hat certified systems administrator)
RHCE (red hat certified engineer)
Red hat satellite
LDOMS (desired but not required)
