About The Lab:

In Mobility Management Lab we develop INS, HLR, HSS / vHSS on top of NSK /Linux OS to continue our World Wide Market leadership position in this Product Space as part of Communication Media Solution R& D Lab. Mobility Management is a strategic Program for CMS and Enterprise Services Portfolio providing one of the Highest ROIs for the business.

Brief summary of the role:

This Technical Specialist responsibility is to technically drive and contribute to the functional Development to produce high quality supportable software that effectively meets customer requirements. He/She must also be comfortable working in a formal software development environment where rigorous focus on and adherence to quality are critical. He/She will have to work with global team who will develop and test several components to further Develop and enhance the Mobility Management Product Portfolio.

Responsibilities for this positions:

  • Analyze Business Requirements and convert them to FRS and SRS.
  • Lead & contribute actively in all product development activities which include investigation, design, coding, Unit Testing & Functional Testing.
  • Design and development of features as per Protocol specifications for SS7-MAP, DIAMETER etc.
  • Carry out reviews of deliverables which include investigation, design, code, UT & FT artefacts.
  • Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
  • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
  • Provide timely accurate effort estimate and progress status to Lab project manager in order to create deterministic project planning.
  • Ensure IPs packaging and documentation to enable their leverage.

Skills :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Telecom Protocol (MAP/DIAMETER/SIP) Development
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in Product Development environment.
  • Experience in SDLC.
  • Hands on experience in RA, Design Implementation and Functional testing.
  • Good Analytical Ability
  • Exposure to HLR, HSS would be added advantage.
  • Strong interest and experience in SW Engineering practices and tools.
  • High-level of engagement, willingness & Drive to make things happen.
  • Need to be a cohesive tem player with ability to interface with diverse and globally distributed team in cross-cultural development activities.
  • Scrum and Agile methodology experience is a plus.


  • Bachelor degree in Computer science or Information technology or equivalent.
  • 3-8 years of Overall IT industry experience.
