Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of IT Applications Development and Service Management Team providing service through a DevOps model. Candidate will perform Level 2 and Level 3 support, developer role, and translation services:

1. Develop using PL/SQL and J2EE/Java

2. Develop Oracle Forms/Reports

3. Monitor and troubleshoot technical problems

4. Adhere to internal and customer application standards (i.e. CMMI), and a structured software development lifecycle for all projects, regardless of size, location, or impact – including the use of approved templates and tools

5. Provide accurate development estimates

6. Perform requirements analysis and requirements definition activities to understand business, functional and project needs

7. Perform unit, system and business acceptance testing activities to ensure solutions meet specifications and business requirements

8. Perform application training to key/end users or support teams

9. Review code and ensure compliance to technical design and coding standards

10. Debug code and fix defects

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Incident Management ticket creation, dispatch and resolution

2. Change management functional design and testing for enhancement requests

3. System/Application monitoring and reporting

4. Execution of documented routine requests

5. Translation of user tickets, business emails, technical documents, and live calls from English to Spanish and vice versa

6. Creation of templates for outline tasks

7. Compliance to account Service Level Agreements and IT Service Management processes

8. Apply the standard development lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and release with a focus in delivering against business goals, technical requirements and platform engineering standards

Minimum Qualifications

1. Excellent communication in written and verbal English (7.0 or higher Academic IELTS Proficiency)

2. Excellent communication in written and verbal Spanish with the ability to interpret/translate business documentation and speak business language (Intermediate 2 B2 or higher)

3. University Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering or other related courses

4. Team player, willing to be coached and mentor others

5. 1-2 years experience in designing, developing Oracle Forms and Reports

6. 2-4 years experience in Java, J2EE and PL/SQL development

7. Knowledgeable in Standard Development Life Cycle

8. Knowledgeable in Oracle Application Server or Web Logic Server


1. Familiarity with Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture is a plus

2. Familiarity with IT Service Management is a plus

3. Familiarity with Agile Methodology is a plus

4. Demonstrate ability to effectively document and communicate technical concepts to non-technical people

5. Experience with other Oracle products a plus
