Software SMB Account Manager

We are currently recruiting for a results-oriented Territory Account Manager. This role will be accountable for selling HPE’s software Application Delivery Management (ADM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial style & a solid track record of achieving/exceeding targets; managing a territory; & closing new logos. This role will be based in Melbourne in our South Pacific Software Sales hub.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Pursue new business through within the Software Application Delivery Management portfolio
  • Carry & achieve &/or exceed quarterly & yearly sales targets
  • Prospect & close on line & by phone, leveraging modern selling tools
  • Balance the use of social, digital, telephone & email sales tactics
  • Identify new business opportunities by creating & implementing territory campaigns
  • Collaborate with & coordinate with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Partners on sales opportunities
  • Continuously identify opportunities for customer development & revenue growth

Required Skills/Experience:-

  • 1 years Software/Solution sales experience
  • Demonstrate a track record of sales success, regularly meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Have experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Have experience in the IT industry with exposure to & experience with new, evolving models of software delivery to customers in SaaS, Cloud & Mobile models
  • Innovative & driven in the pursuit of new business &/or portfolio enhancement
  • Strong achievement focus, highly energetic & perseverant
  • Strong ability to engage with people & build relationships
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, including phone communication skills
