Software Engineer

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 8 years of hands-on product development experience using Java/J2EE and open source frameworks
  • The person will be expected to code and produce deliverables on a daily basis – so it is mandatory that the person is a hands-on developer/coder in his current role.
  • Prior experience of playing a technical lead role – providing technical guidance and mentoring a team of 5-6 developers
  • Very Proficient in Core Java concepts (collections, multi-threading etc.)
  • Knowledge of Java 1.8 features is preferred (Streams, lamda expressions etc)
  • Project experience and proficiency in spring framework (IOC, DI, AOP, Security)
  • Project experience and proficiency in Hibernate framework
  • Project experience and proficiency in Web Technologies ( all or most of these – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, ReactJS, AngularJS)
  • Experience with standard tools such as IDE’s, SVN, GIT, Ant, Maven
  • Basic knowledge of JMS concepts
  • Basic knowledge of BRMS/Rules concepts
