HP StoreFront Manager provides a comprehensive integration of HP Storage with various Converged Infrastructure management systems. It enables the Customers to manage HP Storage running in the Converged Infrastructure environment with a single pane-of-glass view to events/alerts, capacity, health monitoring and detailed virtual infrastructure information. In addition, it helps the Customers to experience the data center footprint at reduced costs through the Software Defined Storage (SDS) solution of HP using its StoreVirtual VSA software.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solution architecture and design for the integrations with Converged Infrastructure Management products for Storage management
  • Evaluate the Storage management products, both in-house and in the field, from architecture/ design perspective and propose the most efficient solutions
  • Interact with the Storage product teams and other eco-system provider products/teams to understand the business priorities and guide the engineering teams on the roadmaps or feature sets that would provide high value add to the Customers
  • Keep up to the technology trends in Storage and drive the state-of-the-art solutions
  • Build prototypes/POCs for the proposed solutions and provide technical leadership to the teams in designing and implementing the solutions
  • Assist management with estimations and dependency/risk analysis
  • Be an expert facing the partners in the knowledge of the products, solutions or service offerings of the Organization with an insight into the competitor's offerings as well
  • Required Skill Set/Experience:
  • Must - 12- 15 years of IT industry experience, with a BE/ME in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent
  • Must - Storage domain experience with a minimum of 6+ years specializing in Software product development for monitoring, backup and recovery, virtualization solutions
  • Preferable - experience working with Microsoft's System Center or Azure Site Recovery products or similar ones from IBM/EMC/NetApp etc., is highly desirable
  • Must - Experience working with data center/ IT infrastructure management software products
  • Must - Hardware configuration experience in Storage/Server/virtualization domains
  • Must - Exposure to software packaging and deployment
  • Must - Well versed with Agile development practices
  • Must – development and design experience in technologies like Java/J2EE, .Net/C#, XML, REST, Web Services and scripting languages like Perl/PowerShell etc.
  • Must – Experience working with Continuous Integration Frameworks and in automating the workflows and testing activities
