We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Demand Generation Federal and Vertical Markets to join our team.

The role is in a dynamic, fast paced environment within the team responsible for the strategy and execution of Networking marketing activities throughout North America. This person will focus on marketing initiatives in the Federal market and other key vertical segments. The successful candidate will have experience in developing high tech B2B marketing programs that include lead generation, digital marketing, public relations, event management and sales enablement. The role reports to the Americas Marketing Campaigns Team Lead.


  • Develop quarterly marketing plans to drive growth of new opportunities for Federal and vertical markets that align to overall strategic goals for the region
  • Prioritize and recommend marketing mix to drive effective lead generation; optimize creative, content messaging, call-to-action and spend for maximum ROI
  • Work with global campaigns teams, regional sales teams, and channel teams to effectively adapt, plan and execute both global campaigns and regional targeted lead generation campaigns
  • Ensure effective leads follow-up and nurturing resulting from Federal and vertical campaign efforts
  • Amplification of awareness initiatives to strengthen the Aruba networking brand
  • Direct engagement with customers for the development of success stories and case studies
  • Assisting with marketing tactics that can include media buying, agency management
  • Plan and execute selected Federal events as well as the annual Federal Sympossium.
  • Write, copy and create Federal customer newsletter, emails, landing pages and other elements for lead generation campaigns and events follow-up.
  • Manage creation of Federal content assets as required for campaign deliverables.
  • Track and measure campaign effectiveness and manage lead reporting to optimize campaign performance
  • Manage quarterly budget for campaigns and other marketing activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing, required.
  • Minimum of Eight (8) years marketing experience, required.
  • Background in IT and Networking (Wireless/Mobility a plus), required.
  • Understanding of total marketing mix, including digital, social, direct and the science of measurement, required.
  • Experience in messaging and value proposition development, required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required.
  • Great collaborator with ability to cut through complexity, required.
  • Organized with an eye for continual improvement, required.
  • A flexible, pro-active, positive attitude a must!
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships within a virtual team, required.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks with little direct supervision
  • Hands on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and CRM tools like Salesforce preferred, required.
  • Strong technical aptitude, required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience Federal marketing or vertical marketing, referred.
  • MBA Preferred
