Senior IT Contracts Analyst

Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a senior IT contracts specialist to help manage and ensure the success of our primary internal IT vendor.

This role will report to the Director of IT Vendor Management Office and focus on analyzing the vendor agreements, assessing areas needing improvement and making recommendations to senior management. Additionally, this role will require working with and through others to design, change and execute on those plans consistent with the long term strategic direction of IT and the company.


  • Supports analysis and provides recommendation in support of vendor agreements
  • Supports the negotiation process by facilitating information to provide context for decision making. This includes vendor historical data and events, potential issues, strengths and weaknesses, financial impact of proposed deal, and summary of balance of trade and contract terms.
  • Measures the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.
  • Assist with creation of executive presentations. Orchestrates data collection, summarization, and presentation to ensure key themes/messages are delivered.
  • Works with partners to automate data capture and reporting.
  • Balances multiple demands and competing priorities; demonstrates ability to prioritize workload and multi-tasks ensuring completion of all assigned duties.

Education and Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • At least 8 years of experience in finance, procurement, operations or related functional area for a large IT environment
  • At least 8 years of experience managing large technology spend, including software, infrastructure, or telecom equipment
  • At least 8 years of experience in the development and administration of large vendor service agreements
