Job Description:

Responsible to ensure the design of fixed asset life cycle is in complaint with the requirement of USGAAP, IFRS and associated accounting policies. Responsible to support FA delivery teams to provide technical guidance on issues they face on a regular basis in the area of Fixed asset life cycle management which includes capitalization, Retirement, WW Transfer In & Transfer Out Delta, Blocked CC, Useful Life Changes Impairment & Accrual entries, Reconciliation, Capex Reporting and Balance sheet Review as per USGAAP Responsible to set up and monitor that Depreciation run happen on time with accurate posting for all the WW company codes. Dep. Accrual and correction are getting posted on the same month to reflect accurate financial statement Work proactively to reduce input spill by exception reporting at WW level Ensuring 100% SOX & AFM Compliance for Fixed Assets activities. Cascade to the delivery team any changes related to AFM policies & also communicate to stakeholder/BU's about the financial/process impact. Working on automation initiative to improve the Fixed assets lead time Leading the Projects which create CAPACITY Take lean and work on System Design & Architecture team to work on new migration/system/process change Handling country/regional level escalations Lead for any Auditors, BC, QA and IA queries. Proactively build internal control (to eliminate any gap in the process) Review of High complex Asset Class and Clearing Account Reconciliations Own New account migration and Sub Ledger creation for new entities Timely follow up on Open Aged Items and Robust Escalatable action plan-SMART Ensuring RCL is updated for the accounts needed RCL (entire team) Design the PPE/Capex/BSR activity for the Region/WW allocated to you flawlessly and contribute to process automation opportunities Driving the fact based analysis towards achieving the team goals Leading on E2E WW PI activity which include Project Plan, Methodology (Sample/Wall to Wall), Escalation for missing details, Reporting/Review of P&L Impact and policy/process change based on lesson learned for previous years. Develop a roadmap for the Fixed Asset process - including automation, CAPEX, capitalization limits and architectural changes etc. Have a view for next 3 years and identify potential quick wins. Manage OBS process, partnering with PWC and Controllership on OBS methodology for Long Lived Assets. Lead the open item migration for LLA. Manage the sub-ledger to General Ledger reconciliation. Long Lived Assets capacity planning. Document impact of capitalization changes. Rationalize delivery FA resources, workload, spider, SLA Support capacity planning associated with MADO acquisitions and leading the effort of these acquisitions Manage OBS process, partnering with PWC and Controllership on OBS methodology for Long Lived Assets. Lead the open item migration for LLA. Manage the sub-ledger to General Ledger reconciliation, if any Continuous relationship building and networking is critical for any organization. A goal for our team is to strengthen existing relationships and establish new relationships. Create a relationship network Develop a culture of Fun and timely Reward & Recognition Lead the effort of SAP HANA, Robotics or any new system implementation
