Senior Director, Aruba WW Sales Strategy & Planning
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales Planning
- Lead annual planning process (top down and bottoms up) in conjunction with Finance
- Oversee quota deployment alongside with Finance and Sales teams
- Support development and delivery of Sales Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with HPE leadership
- Collaborate with Enablement team to oversee implementation of Sales Planning
Sales Analytics
- Define set of analytics and filters (e.g., geo, channel, product, vertical) to be used to track Sales performance. Collaborate with Analytics Lead to develop roadmap to implement proposed solution
- Continuously track sales performance and identify areas of improvement
- Coordinate with Sales Ops and Sales Leadership to drive agreed upon performance improvement initiatives

Sales Comp
- Lead review, design, and syndication of sales comp plan (all levels)
- Collaborate with Sales Ops and Sales Leadership teams to resolve issues on sales comp implementation
- Drive continuous improvement of Sales Comp tools to resolve identified issues
New Coverage Model
- Quickly learn about Aruba's GTM approach across different geos / channels / products / verticals
- Constantly identify opportunities for improvements and drive optimization of existing GTM model (incremental)
- Lead effort to redesign our Sales Coverage Model (transformational)
- Design strategy to support launch of new products and services (including conversion to subscription model)
Other
- Ensure close tie in with other key groups within Aruba, including: eStaff, Sales Ops, Sales Leadership, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Drive conversations around the Change Management required to execute proposed plans
- Help design and build Sales Strategy team
