SAP Consultant (BI)Job Description :

Responsibilities & Duties:

Handle issues raised by Business and resolve them within strict SLA. Understand business challenges/requirements and evaluate the issue; propose the best possible solutions with minimum effort to arrive at the results.

Developing data models, reports, enhancement of existing data models and reports, Extractor design and enhancement. Release and handle transports of BW objects across landscape.

Perform and coordinate unit, integration; regression / non regression and acceptance tests; Conduct unit/integration/UAT tests based on customer defined scenarios.

Be part of Transition activities and ensure all aspects including Functional are covered.

Be part of peer/Project reviews (technically and functionally).

Experience & Key skills

Essentials:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP BI system implementation, development and Support, with thorough understanding of the BI modelling and reporting concepts.
  • Have hands-on knowledge in ABAP related to BW enhancements and developments , which

include performance optimizations.

  • Have knowledge in Business objects and HANA.
  • Fair knowledge integration with other functional areas of SAP like MTI, RTR, STP, TMS, OTC etc.
  • Take leadership and guide junior resources in SAP BW/HANA

Desirable:

  • Worked in SAP BI development for Manufacturing Company Project
  • Knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications – SAP ABAP
  • Good understanding on KPIs of SAP Support activities
