Sales Specialist Graduate Program

Overview

To represent Hewlett Packard Enterprise within the assigned partner base.

Role Focus – Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Help set partner HPE business growth targets and co-ordinate HPE resources to support hitting that plan
  • Support the development of a HPE business plan with the partner to ensure profitable growth of the total HP portfolio of products through that partner, or the profitable growth of a specific category of focus
  • Help the partner to implement programs to drive business linked to the business plan
  • Educate/motivate partners to grow HPE’s share of wallet in the account, including the organization and implementation of training support
  • Collaboratively assess partner opportunities and identify effective sales pursuit strategies
  • Engage with reseller customers if necessary to help close HPE opportunities
  • Collect and qualify forecast data for submission back to lead HPE PBM or iPBM
  • Gather competitor intelligence from within the partner account and provide detailed reporting as and when required on this and other sales activities
  • Determined, tenacious, energetic approach to achieving challenging sales goals
  • Ability to analyse market requirements and trends and use the information to create market changing programs and initiatives
  • Show commercial acumen such that propositions can be created that are compelling to enterprise customers whilst maximising margin
  • Ability to achieve results through influencing action in others
  • Able to build strong relationships so as to gain long term traction & support from key HPE internal & external stake holders
  • Expertise in prioritisation of work to focus on activity that will have the most market impact
  • Ability to create then deliver upon a strategy through driving action
