Sales Executive - Cloud & Managed Services

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Group, Technical Consulting Services is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive, Cloud & Services to be based is in Sydney. Ideally you will have technical knowledge & understanding of Cloud infrastructure services & the key players in this arena to put you in good stead to position HPE’s infrastructure cloud solutions & services with key customers.

Your duties will typically involve:

  • Responsible for achieving/managing quarterly, half yearly & yearly quotas
  • Design & execute a territory account plan
  • Facilitate & accelerate sales cycle to closure
  • Seek out new opportunities & expand & enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in & drive pursuit
  • Build growth opportunities using the account planning process; actively manage planning process through scheduled reviews & updates
  • Attending customer meetings, workshops, presentations
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Oversee development of complex proposals focused on solutions Salesforce.com cadence – updates, forecasts & reporting

It is expected that you will have the following:

  • Track record of achieving &/or exceeding sales quotas
  • Possess a good technical understanding & knowledge of the following service lines: Cloud Services; Infrastructure services (Microsoft/Citrix/VmWare); Data Centre Transformation
  • Demonstrated leadership & initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts -prospecting, negotiating & closing deals
  • Positive sales professional with a ‘Hunter’ sales approach
  • Ability to implement margin recovery activities/strategies in full ownership of the account or in partial ownership depending on account coverage
  • Well-connected with strong relationships with key decision makers & influencers in organisations, particularly in NSW Government
