Thisposition is for an Application Performance Management (APM) Production Engineer on the HP Software as a Serviceteam. The primary product lines that you will be required to support are HP’sAPM, AppPulse Active and UCMDB.

Youwill be responsible for managing the APM solutions for our growing customerbase

Youwill need excellent communication and time management skills to interface withDBAs, Network Administrators, Application Consultants, Client Managers andCustomers to handle a multiple ongoing activities.

Responsibilities

Youwill be responsible for managing HP SaaS customer APM instances. This willentail setting up new instances for customers, maintaining existing instances,setting up monitoring, troubleshooting performance and functional issues, patchupgrades, major upgrades, customer migrations and various other tasks necessaryfor supporting HP SaaS customers.

Settingup new APM tenant instances for customers, maintaining existing instances,setting up monitoring, troubleshooting performance and functional issues, patchupgrades, major upgrades, customer migrations and various other tasks necessaryfor supporting HP SaaS customers.

Workon a team with DBAs, Network Administrators, Application Consultants, ClientSuccess Managers and Customers to handle a multiple ongoing projects.

Providesguidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Identifyand document repeatable demand activities and support the SaaS SOC and Demandteams who will execute them. You will provide technical feedback to Product Marketingand R&D. And you will assist Level II Support by providing technical andcustomer domain expertise

Qualifications

5 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalentdegree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, threeadditional years of relevant professional experience (8 years in total).

Knowledgeand Skills

Wellversed in all aspects of administrating Quality Center across multipleplatforms/installations

Ableto communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, in English

Ableto advise on and influence customers to follow Best Practices and methodologies

Ableto support customers through upgrades

Ableto multitask across different accounts and prioritize tasks

Resilienceand resourcefulness when solving complex problems

Abilityto present solutions persuasively

Excellentteam skills

Desired

Wellversed in all aspects of administrating APM solutions center across multipleplatforms/installations

Integrationexperience with third party products

ITILCertification

WesternEuropean or Japanese language competency is a plus
