SaaS DevopsSupport Engineer

General roledescription:

Provide highlevel (Tier3) technical support and guidance to HPE SaaS customers around theworld, working on cutting edge SaaS delivered solutions.

Work closelyand effectively with a worldwide team of engineers, and collaborate withR&D and Product teams, to assist our international customer base in takingadvantage of their SaaS based solutions.

Dutiesinclude:

  • Managecustomer requests and issues, and communicate via tickets and conference calls.
  • Troubleshootfunctional issues, and collaborate with other teams within SaaS, to provideacceptable workarounds.
  • Be thevoice of the customer, by providing feedback to Product/R&D teams relatedto functionality/usability issues.
  • Assistcustomers in setup and configuration, of existing/new product functionalities.
  • Classifyproduct issues, and report relevant bugs to R&D.
  • Managecustomer enhancement requests flow, while collaborating with product managementteams.
  • Manage andmaintain product knowledge received from R&D.
  • Provideproduct technical training to lower triers and groups.
  • EnsureSaaS standards are in place.

Skillsrequired:

  • Familiarwith Web applications, and troubleshooting client side issues.
  • Working ona multi-layer enterprise application.
  • Ability toanalyze and debug complex systems.
  • Excellentcustomer facing communication skills.
  • A fastself-learner, and ability to adapt to a changing application/platform.

Experience/Backgroundneeded:

  • At least 3year experience in a customer facing role.
  • At least 1year experience with supporting web based applications.
  • Excellentwritten/spoken English.
  • A batcherdegree in sciences / technology
