Job Description:

HPE's objective is to transform and operate all the payroll related processes at a World Class level when it comes to accuracy, cost structure and efficiency. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to help with that transformation. As Quality Assurance Lead you will become a member of the Global Payroll Process Management Team, working on payroll and time tracking application implementation projects, as well as standardization and improvement initiatives across the globe. The GPPM Team is spread across several countries Worldwide with majority of its team members located in Wroclaw, (Poland), Guadalajara (Mexico) and Chennai (India). In the Quality Assurance Lead role you would be responsible for the entire testing phase in several assignments, including interface testing as well as reporting the testing progress to all Stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops test plans, test specifications, test cases and test scripts that ensure proper validation of system and data related to HPE payroll and time tracking environments
  • Documentation, cataloging and maintenance of test plans and scenarios to maximize reuse across multi-country, multi-platform environments
  • Execution, analysis and reporting of test results in a clear and timely manner according to business requirements
  • Leading, coordinating, assigning test cases to all involved resources
  • Accurate tracking and monitoring of testing failures and related defect tracking
  • Analysis of testing defects/failures for possible causes
  • Ensuring meetings with Project Team are conducted on regular basis (country dependent) to discuss testing progress and ensure proper testing related actions are taken and proper communication is in place
  • Engage in test plan and specification reviews to ensure testing completeness and accuracy
  • Working with Global Quality Lead on any issues / escalations and the signoff criteria
  • Identify and recommend improvements to payroll, time tracking and testing processes, tools, scenarios and environments to streamline work activities
  • Participate as team member in ongoing projects related to system and/or operational changes in payroll and time and labor environments
  • Develop and apply baseline knowledge of HPE business and payroll requirements to testing scenarios

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel: Formulas, Pivot Tables is key
  • Experience in the testing area and practical knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management, Quick Test Professional and reporting tools will be an asset
  • Very good English language skills, any additional languages will be an asset
  • Strong verbal communication ability
  • Payroll/Time tracking background will be a big advantage
  • Knowledge of Payroll/Time tracking applications will be a plus
  • Experience with data mapping, data migration activities, interface testing is desired
  • BA or Master degree
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, positive, "CAN DO" attitude, results focused
  • Self-motivation and time management skills to meet deadlines/priorities
