Job Description:

  • This position is with the Americas Sales Operations team within HPE Software.
  • Owns and delivers reporting to support one or more key Sales related processes or performance indicators, such as the reporting of sales team progress towards goals.
  • Runs or directs others to ensure the underlying process to create the required deliverables is timely, accurate, and efficient. Quality and detail oriented. Nimble to move quickly to meet changing requirements and ad hoc requests.
  • Represents the needs of the region on an ongoing basis to world-wide process owners to drive improvements. Collaborates with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes of significant complexity, and understand business/customer impact.
  • Becomes a recognized subject matter expert on assigned areas; able to answer ad hoc questions, and work with varied teams to determine the impact of or influence change in related processes.
  • Typically partners with internal clients at the Director and above levels.

Education and Experience Required

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of related experience in business operations or finance

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Ability to work with senior sales and operational management.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and highly prefer working knowledge of data base and reporting tools, e.g. Access, Qlikview
  • Experience in the software industry strongly preferred
  • Experience with or other CRM systems preferred
  • Superior communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills. Mastery of the English language.
  • Ability to define complex process improvements, and has a thorough understanding of change management processes and procedures. Quality or process improvement training and certification preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a program within the scope of overall strategies.
  • Strong financial and business acumen. Advanced understanding of core company businesses and the revenue cycle.
  • Merger and acquisition experience a plus.
