The Global Payroll Process Management team (GPPM) is in charge of bringing our Payroll processes to world class efficiency, quality, ease of business and compliance. Together with our partners from HR/Benefits, IT and Finance, we have successfully implemented payroll and time process and system transformations for over 27 countries, making significant progress on our transformation roadmap. In the past several years this team also successfully managed two system separations and is currently managing a third.

The Operational Process Improvement Reporting Expert will be responsible for turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The successful candidate will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements and will also be responsible for the improvements and design of business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Ongoing ability to assess and identify opportunities for redesign and/or improvements of existing systems and processes that result in improved quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Solving problems independently and articulating issues across functions and businesses, collaborating with other individuals contributors, sometimes outside of the job family, to bring solutions.
  • Uses expert subject matter knowledge and research to identify and develop the business potential of a given project/process
  • Conducting analysis to assess impact of new policies / programs from partner organizations on payroll landscape (process, system, people

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Ability to convert complex data into executive reporting packages
  • BA or Master degree
  • Ability to ask the right questions to get the requirements they need
  • If solution is not known, must be able to research very quickly and figure out a solution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
  • Expert analytical skills and the ability to synthesize change quickly using advanced subject and process knowledge.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
