In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for timely and accurate submissions of all payroll reports for Singapore compliance and statutory submissions
  • Support Payroll Operations to ensure timely and accurate pay related payments
  • Performing all necessary month end close reconciliation, audits and validations for each payroll cycle to ensure the highest quality of payroll
  • Perform all tax clearance and year-end activities such as Year-End Annualization and other statutory requirements
  • Identify, develop and implement process improvements and robust business controls to work-flows and processes Payroll single point of contact for any of the company's Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestiture payroll activities

  • Provide other management reporting / statistical data, as and when required
  • Performing all necessary month end close reconciliation ,audits, and validations for each payroll cycle to ensure the highest quality of payroll
  • Perform all year-end activities such as Year-End Annualization and other statutory requirement
  • Responsible for record retention for all Payroll records and that all documents are properly kept and recorded in accordance with Company's Record Retention Policy
  • Identify, develop and implement process improvements and robust business controls to work-flows and processes to efficiently and effectively ensure smooth processing of payroll activities
  • Responsible and should be the Payroll single point of contact for any of the company's Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestiture payroll activities
  • Keep abreast of updates pertaining to changes in country policies and statutory updates and analyze impact of such changes on Payroll processing

About the candidate

Required

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in finance or human resources recommended or equivalent experience
  • Deep knowledge of the local labor law, local employee and employer taxes, and other government statutory requirements
  • At least 4+ years of experience in payroll operations

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Project management and implementation of Payroll solutions
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Mandarin
  • Knowledge and experience using any Global Payroll System Environment
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (preferable knowledge of Outlook, Advance Excel)
  • Strong people skill, excellent communication and ability to work with people of all level are essential for the position, i.e to manage employees' expectations and to develop strategic partnership and teamwork with different business partners and internal customers
  • The individual is required to be team player, analytical, versatile, and can manage time effectively, setting task priorities independently
  • This position also requires expertise in policies and guidelines (such as, but not limited to, HR compensation and benefits policies, HR Mobility Policy, and Global Payroll System) and country statutory acts relating to Payroll and intermediate understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience in Workday, Global View SAP would be an advantage
