The WW OEM team is seeking an experienced qualified Program Manager with customer facing experience. You would be expected to work with OEM account teams to help during pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements by providing engineering and program management support.

Experience & knowledge

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Industry Standard Server, Storage, or Networking products, roadmaps and related teams; demonstrated project management skills; the ability to effectively manage competing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced fluid environment; the ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment; and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills. This position requires a person that can effectively respond to changing customer requirements, changes to product roadmaps and manage compressed schedules while meeting customer requirements. This role will require considerable flexibility and patience and the appropriate persistence when dealing with customers, business partners and other HPE teams.

The Program Manager will join the HPE DCIG team to help drive improvements in OEM business processes, requirements definition, scheduling, reporting, and launch activities.

You will have the opportunity to contribute and lead multi-disciplined and culturally diverse teams of engineers and business analyst responsible for enabling and deploying OEM offerings to multiple geographic regions.

This position will help negotiate and influence process augmentation, product enhancements, and participate in customer engagement activities.

You will work closely with OEM Sales Specialist, HPE's Services, Technical Leads and regional OEM support teams in order to assure a successful hand-off from presales activities to implementation projects.

You will be expected to constantly learn and demonstrate competencies in new technologies, products and solutions.


  • Bachelor's degree related to engineering 6+ years of related engineering work experience


  • Self-starter, able to lead and influence distributed teams, and can work effectively across cultural, language and time zone boundaries
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills are essential to effectively coordinate and manage concurrent projects
  • Ability to work complex projects while identifying and resolving problems independently or as a contributing team member
  • Self-starter with project coordination, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle
