About the position:
The Service Integration Framework (SIF) is a light-weight integration framework that supports integration within HP Enterprise regional data centers and B2B integration with external ITSM systems. Service Ramp is a custom developed browser based application used by Engineers to configure and deploy integration services that run on the integration framework
SIF Developer candidates should have 5 – 7 years of experience of application development and maintenance experience with applications on the Windows platform. The SIF developer will be involved in all lifecycle phases of the development process with the ability to analyze requirements, perform component design, code and support all test phases. In addition to development of new feature capability the SIF Developer will provide break/fix support for the existing deployed release of the SIF software.
- JQuery and MS SQL Server
- Knockout for Dynamic Java Script U.I.s
- Microsoft C#.net, .NET, IIS
- Windows Server Fabric, WCF and Microsoft Service Bus
- Experience with B2B integration standards such as SOAP/Web Services, HTTP, and JSON/REST
- XML, XSD schema and HTML
- Experience with the Agile development methodology with the ability to translate user stories into application functional and nonfunctional requirements while working with Subject Matter Experts
- Experience with application to application integration
- Security standards such as SSL, OAuth and SAML 2.0
- Integration patterns such as request/Reply, Asynchronous and publish/subscribe
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and design
- Usability Design Standards
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
5 or more years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C , C#, VB.Net; databases like Sql Server/ Oracle; and Testing tools Experience of multiple full release cycles. Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies. Advanced understanding of modern software development tools and Software Configuration Management (SCM). Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools. Expert in Database Administration. General Project Management. Customer/ Vendor Management. Business Analysis. Advanced Web technologies. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
