Marketing and Communications Intern (Master's Degree) - Yearlong

At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, we don’t just believe in the power of technology, we believe in the power of people when technology works for them. We believe in applying new thinking and ideas to improve the way our customers live and work.

Learning does not only happen through training. Relationships are among the most powerful ways for people to learn and grow, and this is part of our HPE culture. In addition to working alongside talented colleagues, you will have many opportunities to learn through coaching and stretch assignment opportunities. You’ll be guided by feedback and support to accelerate your learning and maximize your knowledge. We also have a “reverse mentoring” program which allows us to share our knowledge and strengths across our multi-generation workforce.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is currently hiring a Marketing and Communications Intern (Master’s Degree) position for the HPE Financial Services Marketing Communications team. This is based in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This is a yearlong internship.

The year-around internship program within the HPE Financial Services Marketing Communications department is a unique opportunity to get in-depth, real-life experience working alongside, and in support of, a group of world-class marketing and communication professionals delivering programs on a global basis.

Unlike traditional summer intern programs, our year-around program allows for deeper integration into the practice and understanding of marketing from within a Fortune 50 company. It also allows for a stronger understanding of the marketing discipline in practice and allows for long term project ownership by the intern, something rare for summer interns to experience.

Here is how the program is structured.

  • The role is with HPE Financial Services, a division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise
  • The intern would be working on the global marketing and communication team
  • This is a paid program with required minimum work hour commitments
  • During school sessions the minimum work week requirement is 20 hours, up to 30 hours maximum. During summer and other extended break periods, interns may work up to 40 hours per week
  • Intern must be a full-time student for the duration of the yearlong internship, pursuing a Master’s, MBA or other graduate level degree
  • The position is located in our Berkeley Heights, NJ office, so the ideal candidate must be within commuting distance during school term and during breaks/summers periods
