HPE Enterprise Group (EG) combines the portfolio of Enterprise Servers, Storage, Networking and Technology Services to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver advanced solutions and services to our global, commercial and public sector and SMB customers throughout the regions.

Brief Position summary:

As a part of EG TCE & Quality organization, he/she will be responsible for Transforming the quality processes & Drive Improvement through Actionable Insights by coordinating and driving critical improvements throughout the Quality Lifecycle, improve QCA process to provide actionable information for all Enterprise Group product cases relating to Servers, Storage, Networking and support all BU and functional teams to deliver on quality goals (AOER – Annual Outage Event Rate , Average Outage Duration – AOD, Annual Intervention Rate – AIR, Out of Box Failures – OBF, Availability).

Qualifications / Education and ExperienceRequired:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or Science or Maths & preferable Management degree as additional qualification and / or related field certification
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years working in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality , R&D environment having very good exposure on end to end organization model / stake holders / processes / inter connectivity
  • Preferable, very good exposure to all Quality / QA processes, methodologies, FMEA & statistical tools.

Preferred:

  • Good exposure to Tools / Technology / Automation efforts
  • Will be very good if he / she had earlier similar experience in EG BU or any other BU of HPE or having similar experience from competitor companies of same nature.
  • Project management certification such as PMP/PMI certification
  • Lean Six Sigma and / or other Quality certification
  • Minimum 5 or more years of experience of managing teams & should be a very good people manager.

  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
  • Good project management skills including time & risk management, resource prioritization and project structuring.
  • Strong people management skills to drive workforce development across team & achieve desired results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.
  • Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Good understanding of HPE’s policies and processes.

  • Delivers thought leadership in the area of TCE & Q best practices, process, standards, and performance.
  • Maintains a high attention to detail & must be hands down to the deep to resolve issues / conflicts.
  • Strong in various Reporting / BI / Predictive analysis / Data Management requirements for SC and TCE & Q
  • Ability to work with various stake holders of EG BU to resolve Quality issues & work towards permanent fix, hence need is to establish & maintain working relationships across the organization effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors coordinating, managing, and leading programs to drive the quality related projects.
  • Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.
  • Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.
  • As necessary, manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
  • Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.
