You will be part of the Communication & Media Solutions (CMS) team, assisting in architecture within customer projects for the Enterprise Group (EG) within Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In collaboration with a senior Consultant you will work on the entire project life cycle from presales to consulting services delivery. You will establish and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the client by developing a core understanding of the client's unique business needs and competitive challenges.

Responsibilities

You will support the senior Consultant with the sales activities and support proactively the project manager in providing accurate sizing and estimation of tasks, assessment of technology risks, and recommendations for the implementation.

In project delivery, under the authority of the customer project manager you will be assisting with the solution architecture over all delivery phases from need analysis, detailed design, and implementation to final testing and customer acceptance

Other key tasks

  • Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project/Technical Manager
  • Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements
  • Owns and manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project), ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project
  • Regularly produces internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components and modules, etc.
  • Supports sales activities. Manages activities and provides qualitative and quantitative information for successful sales
  • Communicates with internal and external senior management confidently and demonstrates professionalism.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related area of study
  • Fluent in English, preferably German fluent
  • A first short professional experience
  • Knowledge on Enterprise OSs (UNIX systems - Linux, HP-UX)
  • Knowledge in Java Development (Java8, Git, Maven, Junit Testing, Eclipse)
  • Ability to work in a multi technology environment
  • Troubleshooting skills and consulting skills
  • Ability to independently complete solution implementation
