Java Developer with SIP and Diameter

Job Description:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Knowledge and Skills:

4-7 years' experience in system software development on Linux platform - mandatory

  • Experience in IMS protocols (SIP/Diameter); 3GPP standards understanding is must.
  • Excellent proficiency in Java/J2EE programming, object orientation & design patterns. Hands on JBOSS/Wildfly experience is must. Good hands on experience in Core Java Programming.
  • IN experience (CAMEL/INAP/MAP/TCAP) would be a definitive plus
  • Experience in Sonar/Maven/JUNIT is must
  • Excellent debugging skills with a good experience in using debugging tools.
  • Good knowledge of shell scripts.
  • Ant/Perl/Maven/C++ knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Needs to be a quick learner and a very good team player.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
  • Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
