EventManagement Analyst role includes proactive monitoring of the productionenvironment in an effort to minimize or eliminate an impact to the Productionenvironment. As an Ops/Support Analyst, you will be responsible to monitorreal-time (e.g., eyes-on-glass via dashboards, consoles, etc.), as well asrespond to and resolve monitoring events.
Beloware the few responsibility on day to day basis for Eyes on GlassMonitoring
Application: BSM, Sitescope, etc.
Infrastructure: OVO, Nagios(LDAP)
GlobalTelecom: NNM, OVPI, etc.
Databases: SCOM, OEM
Exchange/Messaging: Collaboration/Messaging Dashboard
EDW: Yotta/Long running Jobs/Feeds
AdministrationProcess: MyHPRooms/Emails (disable/enable alerts)
IncidentAnalysis – Manuel Ticket creation
